Our deep cleaning service goes well beyond a standard visit. We cover the inside of appliances, behind furniture, skirting boards, light fittings, and everything in between. It's the clean that resets a property properly.
A deep clean is a comprehensive, methodical clean of an entire property — or a specific area of it. It takes significantly longer than a regular visit, typically a full day for a standard-sized home, and involves cleaning areas that routine visits don't cover.
The most common situations we're called in for include end-of-tenancy cleaning, post-renovation clean-ups (when building dust and residue is everywhere), properties that haven't been professionally cleaned in some time, and seasonal deep cleans where people want to reset their home properly.
We work through each room systematically — not just the surfaces, but the hidden areas. Inside the oven. The back of the hob. Inside kitchen cupboards and drawers. Behind and under the washing machine, fridge, and other appliances. Skirting boards, light switches, door frames and handles. Window sills, window frames, and glazed surfaces. It takes longer than people sometimes expect, which is why we're always clear about timing in advance.
The following is a guide to what we typically cover in each area during a full deep clean.
Scope is confirmed before we start. Some items (e.g. defrosting a freezer) require preparation from you — we'll let you know in advance.
Tell us about the property — size, number of rooms, the condition it's currently in, and what you're trying to achieve. This helps us give you a realistic idea of timing and cost.
We confirm exactly what will be covered, any preparatory steps you need to take (such as defrosting the freezer), the start time, and approximate duration. You'll receive this in writing.
We arrive at the agreed time with all necessary equipment and products. Depending on the size of the property, we may send two cleaners to complete the work more efficiently. We work through each room methodically.
Once we're done, we walk through the property with you (or a representative) to check everything has been completed to the agreed standard. If you're happy, we're done. If something needs attention, we address it before we leave.
A deep clean takes significantly longer than a standard clean. For a typical 3-bedroom house, expect us to be there for 5–8 hours. We don't rush — we work through everything properly or we don't take the job.
Some things can't be restored by cleaning alone. If grout has stained deeply, if there's damage to surfaces, or if limescale has built up over years — we'll do our best but we'll also be honest about what cleaning can and can't achieve. We're not in the business of overpromising on results.
End-of-tenancy cleaning for inventory check-in purposes is something we're experienced with. We understand what letting agents and landlords typically look for, and we'll clean to that standard. However, we can't guarantee a property will pass an inventory check — that depends on factors beyond cleaning, including the overall condition and any pre-existing damage.
Tell us about the property and we'll come back to you with a realistic quote and timeline. No obligation, no pressure.
